The maiden voyage:
My husband hailed from Sydney originally and always had a boat and sailed, since moving to Queensland some 20 years ago it was always the plan. Well a couple of weeks ago it happened, he bought a boat. The boys have been learning to sail through school and through a tackers program on weekends, now they can learn on their own boat! Not me though, I like dry land, where things don’t rock, plus it’s a little small for me. That little boat, on the big deep sea, now maybe if it was a big 40 foot yacht?, or an ocean liner? ……. but then again…. probably not. Mummy will watch from the shore!
